Pop Quiz: FACT or FICTION?

...FICTION. Yes, these may represent a small slice of greek life and culture, but does not represent the majority. In fact Greek life is some of the most represented and most involved organizations on campus. Annually, each fraternity or sorority donates millions of dollars to philanthropies nationwide as they try to break this mold that the media and entertainment industry have made so prevalent. While these organizations are primarily social they do offer scholarship and leadership opportunities as well as a great place to meet lifelong friends. (Besides Greek letters bind you into an eternity of sisterhood/brotherhood)

And these organizations are just that, SISTERHOODS and BROTHERHOODS where bond between members are sometimes so strong that it turns into a cult-like culture. (without sacrifice, fasting, or prayer...maybe some singing) And a cult-like culture is what we strive for, a bond so strong no one person can come between you and your sisters.

Going Greek: once again, is a personal choice. And it's a choice that can last a lifetime.
